And also, I'm using about 5 yds of 50 pound mono backing with 300 yards of 832 advanced superline 50 pound sufix braid but what pound of sufix flourocarbon invis-line leader should I use? 75 pounds or 100 pounds? Somebody suggested 75? pound to me

I hooked up with a 250pound tarpon he ran 300 yards of line out in 30 seconds before my dad could get the boat going lost him, also hooked up with a 200 pound tarpon with a 10? pound test smallest real on the boat bent the hook out we were fishing for bass not tarpon!

Thanks for the help Captain. I usually go on a snook trip with a different charter, but this year im looking to catch some bigger species and will definately keep you in mind when i make a? decision on which charter i go with. Which fish do you usually catch during an offshore trip?

i go fishing with my step dad and ive never seen fish as big as you caught haha? the biggest fish i ever caught was a 36in northern and seeing all the big fish you catch is crazy

i was in fort lauderdale and after our fishing trip we watched this? guy try to reel in a tarpon it was huge he said 175 or something like that but anyways he then handed it to me!!!!! i was on my heels trying to not get dragged into the sea and i got a few blisters and a sore arm but man it rocked ill never forget it.also im 12 goin on 13!!!
